Terms & Subscriptions

1. The service and your account

These terms apply to Indie Production Suite (“IPS”), provided by Cobblewright LLC, trading as Cobblewright (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization using the account. Keep your account details accurate and your password private. Contact support@cobblewright.com about unauthorized access.

2. Plans and currency

The checkout page confirms the currency, amount, billing interval, trial if any, and any applicable taxes before you authorize payment. Annual plans are paid for a full year in advance. Your bank may apply currency-conversion or other charges. A paid subscription allows unlimited projects within your account, subject to reasonable use and the service’s technical limits; it does not provide separate accounts or seats for other users.

3. Seven-day trial and immediate subscriptions

Start 7-Day Trial: create and verify your account, then complete Stripe checkout with a payment method. The trial starts when that checkout completes. No subscription payment is due at trial start. You may use one full project during the trial. Unless you cancel before its end, Stripe charges the selected monthly or annual price and the subscription renews automatically at that interval. Trial eligibility is limited; previous trials cannot be restarted by creating replacement accounts.

Subscribe now: the selected plan is charged immediately, without the seven-day trial. Review the payment date and renewal information shown by Stripe before confirming.

4. Renewals and cancellation

You authorize recurring charges at the billing interval selected until you cancel. To stop renewal, sign in and choose Account → Manage Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid period. Cancel a trial before its end to avoid the first subscription charge. Paid access continues through the paid period, provided the account otherwise complies with these terms. There is no cancellation fee.

If the billing portal is unavailable, email support@cobblewright.com from your account address and clearly request cancellation. Signing out, deleting a project or removing the website from your device does not cancel billing. Keep the cancellation confirmation. After access ends, export or deletion assistance can be requested through support.

5. Payments, refunds and changes

Stripe processes payments. An unsuccessful or disputed payment may interrupt access until resolved. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscription payments are non-refundable and unused portions of a billing period are not automatically prorated. If there is a duplicate charge, billing mistake or service problem, contact support so we can review it. These terms do not limit mandatory refund or consumer rights.

We will give advance notice of material changes to subscription pricing or terms, including when they take effect. A price increase will not be applied retroactively to an already paid period. You may cancel before renewal. When law requires fresh agreement, we will obtain it rather than relying only on an updated page.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of scripts, images, budgets, contacts and other content you provide. You grant Cobblewright only the permission needed to store, process, display, back up and transmit that content to operate IPS and carry out your instructions. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions and legality of what you upload and share. We do not claim ownership of your productions.

7. Acceptable use

Use IPS lawfully. Do not upload content you have no right to use, disclose other people’s private information without authority, abuse email or share links, introduce malware, bypass access controls, interfere with other accounts, resell access without permission, or evade trial and subscription limits. We may restrict access to address abuse, nonpayment, security risks or legal requirements. We will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue where reasonable and lawful.

8. Practical limits and your backups

IPS is a production-planning tool. Check schedules, budgets, contact details, exports, call sheets and other outputs before relying on or distributing them. You remain responsible for safety, employment, financial, legal and production decisions. Keep independent exports and backups of important work. Internet connections, browsers and third-party services can fail, and maintenance or outages may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular production outcome or that every file format will preserve every detail.

9. Software rights

Cobblewright and its licensors own the IPS software and branding. Your subscription gives you permission to use the available service for your own work. It does not transfer ownership of the software. Third-party trademarks and compatible file formats belong to their owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement.

10. Privacy and account closure

Our Privacy Policy explains account, project, payment and technical data processing. You can request account closure, export assistance or deletion by emailing support from your account address. Billing cancellation and data deletion are separate requests. We may retain records needed for legal, tax, security or dispute purposes as described in the policy.

11. Legal protections

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, and Cobblewright does not provide additional implied guarantees beyond those required by law or expressly stated here. We are not responsible for losses caused by your misuse, inaccurate inputs, unauthorized sharing or failures outside our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or takes away mandatory rights under consumer or privacy laws. No compulsory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these terms.
